Becky’s Pet Sitting Academy was created to help aspiring pet professionals take their passion for animals and turn it into something real, sustainable and entirely their own.

Founded by Becky, owner of the successful Becky’s Kitty Sitting, the Academy is built around real experience — not just theory. After years of building and running a busy professional pet-care business, Becky created the Academy to share the knowledge, lessons and practical skills she wishes she had been given when starting out.

Our six-week, in-person Academy programme takes you through the journey of building a pet sitting business from the ground up. We begin with the foundations: understanding the industry, professional standards, regulations, responsibilities and the everyday realities of working for yourself. From there, we move into the practical side of creating a business — from pricing and policies to customer care, organisation, marketing, branding and building a service people can trust.

By the end of the six weeks, the focus turns to you and your business. You'll work towards creating a clear business plan and preparing for your own launch, with guidance and support throughout the process.

This isn't a course designed to simply hand you information and send you on your way. The Academy is designed to give you the confidence to understand why successful pet-care businesses operate the way they do, how to make decisions for yourself, and how to create a business that works around the life you want to build.

You don't need a business degree, years of experience or a perfect plan before you walk through the door. We welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life. What matters is that you have a genuine love for animals, a willingness to learn and the ambition to create something of your own.

Becky brings almost half a decade of experience in self-employment and professional pet care, alongside training in teaching and certified Advice & Guidance, creating an Academy environment that is supportive, practical and rooted in genuine experience.

The full six-week Academy programme is £350 per student, with the option to spread the cost across three payments.
